Would some kind Wakefield supporter give me the information I need as to where to park my Car on Sunday ,as I will be driving there for the match .an I haven't been since 2005 when I went on the Coach, so any info will be gratefully received ,thanks in advance

On street parking. Sugar lane might be the best bet.

Sugar lane will be choca as usual, if you come over the river (Chantry bridge) turn right and follow the Barnsley sign and park up on the left any where after the bus depot down as far as the Brookhouse wmc.

As someone who comes from the other side of the City.
Come off the M62 at Normanton and approach the ground over Heath Common. Loads of parking along side common and you'll not have any trouble getting away after match from that side of the area. It's where the likes of Hull and Cas arrive from and park up.

Last time I drove there I remember stopping at some lights and the car next to me had Wakey stickers in the window, a quick chat to the driver and his mates and we followed him to a street side of the Cemetery and walked through the Cemetery to the ground.

No idea of the name of the street though, but from what I remember it wasn't too far from the ground and got away quite easily.

Sugar lane. It does get busy when there's likely to be a decent crowd but it looks like it will be around the 3-4k mark so it might not be too bad.

I can't go now because of a business trip away. You can take my spot on Belle Isle Avenue which is a side street off Sugar Lane. Put WF1 5JY into your Sat Nav or Google maps and you'll be fine. You can access it from Sugar Lane or Barnsley Road.

I'm back the following week for the Widnes game so you can't park in my spot then

I too have a car full!! Is there no stadium parking?? I don't mind paying I'lf not how far is sugar lane from the ground??

if you park on Sugar Lane go through the cemetry and its 200 yards straight forward.
