All of these predictions should be hung up on the dressing room wall.
We have never finished bottom of SL, despite many, many previous predictions and I don't believe that we will this season.
However, making the top 8 would represent both, a massive challenge and a superb achievement (should we manage it).
Personally, I would expect us to finish around 10th but, with a good run, many things are possible.

He does it on purpose I'm sure.
He mention a having nobody but Don Fox as famous player and says our best times were in 50s.

I think the Sporting Life summary is 100 % correct, on paper we have the weakest squad and our pre season games suggest that we will no be able to compete,our defence looks terrible, they are correct in that we need Tim Smith to be brilliant. We should finish 12th. Wouldn`t it be great to upset the odds

Now that's the final piece in the jigsaw that should see us avoid the bottom, Belly doing the usual & writing his own team off.

Don't think it is harmless to portray us in such a bad light, particularly as there are many who would like us to fail.
I cannot abide people who make no attempt to get facts correct knowing that the ill informed and gullible will take it all in.

Agree, apart from the top sides everyone's been finding their feet. Imo I thought our defence improved as we went on, Leeds crap, Feath a bit better and Hull better again. Time will tell though.

Did you read any of the other team reviews?? It is just a bit of fun and gives an outsiders view of every team. It's not just us that are portrayed in this way. Can't see anyone taking that account seriously, can you really?

They are like that with the other teams too. They haven't singled us out.

It certainly is and whoever wrote them is certainly perceptive about all the SL clubs and knows all their 'downsides'. Just a shame I could not post all the links in full, instead of bits. But for some reason when I posted the full links on here, much of them did not appear.

Not for you mate no. You'd actually have to stop writing the negative guff IMHO you post on here and actually support your club, it would kill you. No more preaching to anyone in ear shot as to how much we'll get stuffed by this week, only to scuttle off when the inevitable happens and we don't. You'd also have to finally admit you're basically a Cas fan, no point supporting a good Trinity side is there!







So then in what way has the pre season shown we can't defend and why we are the weakest team on paper - please explain to those of us not gifted with your RL genius how this is so - I'm especially fascinated as to why your beloved Castleford are any better. Perhaps you should stop hanging around with Gary Scofield so much, most folk I speak to seem to see our squad as "handy" and certainly not the worst, but hey lets go with the "experts".

Finally I don't fancy us on Sunday, but that doesn't make us poor it's just a logical conclusion based on last years finish, home advantage and our tendency to start slow.

I'm sure I read or heard or both that if you take our form from the point that Webster took over we would lay 7th in the League.

Given that we have added a fair bit of quality to the team, those who needed operations have had them and we've had a full uniinterupted preseason, how do people justify predicting us as certainties for the wooden spoon?

Doesn't matter, we're Wakefield Trinity, we don't give a funk!
