These guys give everything in the wakey shirt Tim smith clearly wants to be at Wakey which I Will accept and sign permanent next year. The likes of Scrutton and Washbrook also Richard Owen are just drawing a wage from the club that's it. Godinet hasn't bothad the last 6week. Some players are not up for the fight. The London lads gave everything last night everything just not big and strong enough but I admired how they fought some of our blokes need to look at them.

| I agree too many players just going through the motions. Scruton stops & turns before he makes contact with tackler. Last night Washbrook put his hand in air asking ref for obstructions instead of tackling London player 5 yards from Wildcats line. I could go on but blood pressure increasing which gp says is bad for me.

| For me Richie Owen should be top of that list for effort last night.not on the other list !
Thought he was the only player running in with some grunt last night, And if it wasn't for him been the only player decent under the high ball London would have won that game by 3 or 4 tries !
Noticed him and smith where the only players after the London try's rallying around trying to encourage all the players while the rest of them walked around like they couldn't care less.

| We get Richie Moore back next week to play alongside Tautai, Smith, Kirmond and Anderson so I think our pack will be stronger.
Thought young Dan Smith went ok and scored a good try showing some strength but he also made a couple of shocking errors, (that knock-on on halfway from the drop out being one big one when we were building pressure ).
Walshaw caused them a few problems and gave a great hand off in the face in that first half and is one to sign for another 2 years IMHO. Tim Smith showed some good touches and needs to keep that 7 shirt for the rest of the season.
I think the coach needs to ensure that when the players go out they play with structure and to the game plan. No standing starts from forwards when they get the ball.
Let Tim Smith run the game for Trinity don't play like a bunch of strangers with one man rugby...any other team would have out 20/30 past us in that first half.
Sykes plays better when Tim Smith is on the field, Sykes also put some real effort in when tackling which was good to see. Sammut needed to be in 17 though even if for impact from the bench.
In second half When Godinet tried to go over from dummy half at the play the ball when we had a good attacking line and it was screaming to be passed down the line (no cut outs in monsoon weather!)...it said it all.

| It doesn't come easy to bag our players and last nights conditions didn't help. What I would say is many of the current playing staff dont have the best interests of the club at hart and come the end of the season should be shipped out. That will be the task of mr Webster, and I'm not convinced he's capable of putting a squad together from scratch. I hope I'm wrong.

| Conditioning might be part of the issue but we don't seem to win many collisions either in attack or defence. Until that situation is rectified, I cannot see us winning any more games.
It may seem negative, but the way the majority of the team are performing it is difficult to draw any other conclusion.
Let's hope they prove me wrong.

| Have to say I thought Owen did ok Mathers did what was asked of him as for Scruton well I despair the size of him he should be doing miles better than he is you could take anyone of us 50+ year olds from the terrace and would see better.Washbrook so far this season has had some effect in just 4 games this season 2 of those he was out injured.

| Don't agree about Washbrook. He has often been the only one who looks like doing anything.

See again defending a player who isn't rated by anyone else but binning Wallshaw on another thread. I know it's your opinion and that's fair enough but none the less you seem to love going against the tide and defending the indefensible even more than I do!

For the record Washbrook has lost it and has been like that for two seasons, whether he can get it back I don't know but going on the games you've given Wallshaw by your chart he should be playing for Eastmoor seconds by now

| I am sorry but we won so why do you find it necessary to start another thread just to have a go at your favourites scapegoats. I guess you were watching a different game or you had rain in your eyes because both Owens and Washbrook played well.
I noted some of you found no problem with the forward Smith but in addition to the mistakes commented on he was also responsible for giving away two penalties one of them on the 5th tackle. It does not mean he had a bad game because he didn't but neither did the two named above despite what you might hope.

| I totally agree about Scruton - just as we were coming into the ascendency, Smith puts in a great kick which stops a yard short of their line and Scruton comes in with a lazy swinging arm - penalty. Pressure relieved and momentum lost.
For such a big lad who was playing so well and Bulls, he needs to take a look at his efforts for me.
