The current squad of players I can feel their love for each other and they really do love Wakefield Trinity the boys don't want to leave and I don't want them to leave it will be like splitting a family up. How can we go in debt with a group of players nobody else wanted we brought them together and they play for each other. Cockyne released by Hull KR ended up in the championship we gave him another go, Amor not wanted by Leeds we train him up to be a beast, Kirmond shudds didn't want him thrown to the way side, Tim Smith a cronulla reserve nobody wanted. I am so sad and de flated,serious questions go to Mr Glover and JAmes Elston it makes me feel sick how we have ended up in this state.Why weren't the books checked before. After Sunday the boys played like lions I didn't give them a chance but they gave us A GREAt parting gift.

MR Carter is a very rich man if he keeps hold of what we have got I think the fans will try and do everything in our power to buy merchandise and tickets I certainly will. If the family breaks up ?I can imagine fans walking away, and it will be a downward spirall.

Thats the best post i've seen from you mate, from the heart and how a lot of us are feeling. It's gut wrenching losing players like that and then constantly seeing other clubs fans slate us off, we've a great record though at plucking players that aint wanted and turning them into quality, its the spirit in the club and we all need to keep that strong. Hopefully we can duck and dive and bring in a few loans and maybe unearth the next Amor, Kirmond etc...

There are a range of rugby expertise, business experience and education standards on here. From top to bottom.
We all enjoy the banter but unfortunately if you are the subject of discussion it will get personal and be fraught with inaccuracies. As long as they are not offensive the majority try to pick out the meaning of the post and let the other bits go.
NGB4C is a good example. He posts with obvious passion for the club but doesn't always articulate it well and often upsets people, probably unintentionally. He is not alone.....myself included.

I used to be wound up by all the spelling mistakes and grammatical errors but I enjoy posting far more now I have managed to let that go.

You'll get a lot of feedback and fan opinion on here which is very valuable but you'll soon be fed up if you take individual posts seriously. No one on here wants that.

I try to read it all because no one has a monopoly on good ideas and I will take on board any I read.
I just can't physically reply to them all.

Do not patronise me please! I speak from the heart and if people don't like it its tough. But the main thing is I love my club. Mr Carter will there be any talks this week with potential new investers?

Lets face facts once again we dont have the money and it has to come from somewhere and the only worth we have is in the players.Yes some clangers have been made getting players in on silly contracts and money and selling season tickets at a big discount.I can see what the idea was with cheap season tickets get the crowds in and up the price later once you have the fans in.Thats all well and good but a fine balancing act to get right but it was plain to see those ticket offers were far to cheap.Yes Eric France going bust lost us some big income but we should not be reliant on one main sponsor and what the others bring in should be able to cover for that.This club needs to be sold to all and sundry to bring that extra revenue in.
One idea to get extra income in why dont we have a brochure given out on match days with adverts for local buisnesses to advertise in something similar to one you get through the letter box.Even one that went with season tickets every year would be extra income from advertising.

We already have one....it's called a programme...

My son ,Jordan Crowther,recently signed for Trin,which he and the Crowther family are very proud of,being Wakey born and bred and I know this would be better saved for next weeks meeting but it has been playing on our minds that the youth set up may be sacrificed and the monies diverted elsewhere.Being red,white and blue through and through we hope he will wear the shirt of Wakey in the first team and the youngsters are kept together for the forseable future.if you could give any response it would be much appreciated .Cheers.

I think you'll find that we are hoping that salvation comes from our youth. Not once has it entered my mind to cut back on what we are trying to do with our youth players.

I really hope you guys get out of this mess and can build a sustainable future. 2 financial meltdowns in 3 years isnt good going but you survived last time I hope you can do so again, hopefully for good this time. Seems like youve been a bit unlucky with your sponsor going belly up but obviously there is still accountability for whats happened, the sad thing is its the fans who love their club who suffer. Stick together guys and im sure those with Wakefield Trinity in their heart will still have a club to support whether that be in SL or not
