I think for the rest of the season we should give Ben Kaye a run at No.6. to give him the experience, See how he plays and if good enough at least he would be a good back up to Paul Sykes.

This sounds a sensible signing because Sykes has not let us down. My only doubt is his age and as players get older they tend to pick up a few more injuries. I would be extremely surprised if he didn't miss a few games next season so you are right we also need back up at 6 and Kaye now needs the chance to show his potential.

That puts the 6 issue to bed; I'd agree though that we need to be bringing Kaye into the 1st team as Sykes' understudy, to give him a chance at reaching his SL potential.

Happy enough with this, especially given the derth of available halves this year. He also has utility value should we stumble accross a 6 at some point. Agree with the Kaye comments, time to see what he can do.
