Every year when we play Leeds at home we threaten to have a sellout crowd, yet every year we fail to
even get 10k attendance.

What is the actual capacity? Physically I know 11k got in for the Cas match in 06 but I thought this was restricted to 10k now under a safety certificate.

on last night turn out its shown we should be looking at a 15k stadium minimum at Newmarket given better access and parking

10000 there, most of which must have gone in their own car for the amount of time it took to get away from the stadium last night.

I'd prefer a 11000 capacity stadium that was sold out once a year and pretty full for the rest of it. My mate who lives up by Woodthorpe Golf Club said he Gould hear the crowd last night he has never said that before.

If you take a (possibly conservative) estimate of £5 spent per person attending on the night that's just over £50k brought in. Admittedly there's various things to pay out of that, and it'll depend on what the profit margin is to establish whether that's £50k turnover or say £20k profit, but still it's a good chunk of cash, especially as I think my £5 per person is quite conservative.

And that's without taking into account any on the gate payers and income from tickets.

If last nights crowd was 2,000 short of capacity, I'd like to know were the other 2,000 were going to go! It looked packed everywhere you looked!
