Supposed to be a centre yet never even looks for the winger. Tunnel vision and superglue on his hands, in my opinion he's made cockayne have a shocker too he's no confidence in him.

Looked good first few games but not seen anything since. Trout isn't good enough either. Never rated him.

Lynne doesn't have vision to pass inside to Tim Smith to score. Not SL quality. Our wingers can't tackle or catch. Collis has missed tackles on Carney etc etc. Its easier to say who has played well - Tautai & Kirmond. Rest are an embarassment wearing the Wakefield Trinity Shirt.

Got to come back to the coach who picks the team and maybe it is time for Agar to walk....

Yep agree on both points. really thought after the first 3 o r 4 games Lyne was a good find. Haven't got a clue what's happened to him since he was injured.

He's very poor. To be fair he had a few good runs today but on each and every occasion took the wrong option, didn't pass to supporting players and the one time he does pass is when he shouldn't have done.

The Hemel game was the last straw for Lyne. With all credit to Hemel, Lyne should have been skinning a Championship team but looked lost and clueless.

He is only young so its not too late for him to turn it around and i hope he can, imo RA has done him more harm than good.

He certainly ain't a centre thats for sure. Winger or nothing at all.

Time for Agar (if he keeps his job!) to get Cowling back in exchange for Lynne to Doncaster. This club is too good to go backwards and if players or coaches can't take us forward they must go.

That was my view too. Felt sorry for Cockayne with that poor lad with him. I feel a bully banging on at Lynne..it's ridiculous Agar can't see it. I couldn't get out there and do what Lynne does at all but that's not the point. He needs to go to the level of RL his ability suits and all respect to him, but enough is enough at Trinity

I can't see it, sorry, I just can't. These days, the influence of size and strength is massive in the game, no more so than in the position of centre. Lyne just looks so small and ineffectual. In addition he looks lost, skill and position wise, He has a degree of pace, that is his only asset. He belongs at Batley, no disrespect to Batley, but that is glaringly his level. The coach's lack of ability to see the obvious is enough for me

I think its a bit over the top to start blaming Lynne for the abysmal performance of Ben C.
There are far more experienced players to blame for yesterday's abysmal display.

I'd put Ian Brooke and Neil Fox (as old as they are) in front of Lyne.

He's clearly a player who's confidence is totally shot - he looks like a frightened rabbit in both attack and defence; at one point yesterday, he had Cockayne outside and Smith inside - both were bob-on to score - so he took the tackle.

The position of winger is not the place where reject centres go. They are both equally demanding.

Truth is if Lyne isn't good enough to play Centre at SL he probably won't be good enough to play any of the back line positions.

Lyne was in the main a winger in the juniors and played all his first team appearances at Hull on the wing. Here he has played exclusively at centre and not played it very well. As such maybe he is out of position?

Although I am not a fan of Dual Reg , Kay & Cowling have been impressive for the Dons .

Agar said hes better than Cowling because Lynn shines his boots and hangs his raincoat up in training.

I said very clearly "at SL". I'm fully aware of his junior prowess but as we all know that means very little. For me he probably hasn't got what it takes to be a SL player in any position - it's sad and hopefully I'm wrong but it's not looking great.

And you obviously weren't bright enough to underatand what i originally put. I didn't say he would make it on the wing, i said he wouldn't at centre. He hasn't played in his natural position for us yet so maybe he deserves a go there before being written off entirely. Put it this way i wouldn't want Peter Fox lining up in the centres but he's made a decent career for himself on the wing.

FWIW i don't think he'll make it either as he seems to lack the ticker but i'm willing to give him a chance before binning him.
