Wigan fan in peace...

We always come over to your place and stand behind the sticks.

This year I see from Wigan Warriors website that our allocation of tickets is for the Western Terrace, terracing along the touchline.

Is there something I am missing here ?

Have your fans all moved to behind the sticks this season ? I know there are always a lot of home fans there usually anyway, I just cant understand how all Wigan fans plus you guys can even fit on the Western terrace.

Any ideas?

The club and many of the supporters are encouraging our support to use the new covered north stand (behind the sticks) so away fans are allocated the west terrace.
Its not universally popular although well supported in the majority.
The stewards dont really kick any away supporters out of the North stand however if the away support were "trying to take over" or being a nuisance it may be different.

The north Terrace now has cover and is mainly for use of home supporters now.
Away supporters are asked to stand on the western terrace. Its been in operation for quite a while now and seems to
be working well.

The stewards do kick the home supporters out of the Western Terrace so there is more room for away to stand together

Have to say that Tomkins chip and chase try against us last year was sublime, and its sad that talent like his flows out of SL and not into it.

Was it last season when he knocked o and Halibut allowed him to pick the ball up and play it.
