Just a quick post to let you all know that TRB will be a guest on James Deighton Radio Leeds show this evening, 6pm till 7pm. He will be of course talking about the good news so far, the history of WTW stadium projects and of course what it would (will

) mean to the club and the fans to get the final nod from Eric, and move to a new home at Newmarket.

The media coverage is starting to ramp up now, both reporting the news on the LDF but also in anticipation of the final decision. I went to over Real Radio this afternoon and they should be running some news pieces on the LDF and the forthcoming final decision, during tomorrow.

While others moan and make snide digs on here Phil digs in and works hard, he's been at this for years along with many other friends of the club.

He/they deserve our gratitude and i am honoured to call him a friend.

Phil spoke well as always. Got plenty of time to put his point across and gave full in depth information for anyone who did not know the background.

I'll second that. He certainly deserves our gratitude for what he has done and continues to do.

Caught a lot of it but my internet connection was unreliable so I didn't quite get it all. What I did hear sounded great and Phil explained the history and status very well. All good publicity and exciting time for our club.

Feel a little niffed that a question to Chase by a journalist which had an obvious answer should take the headlines of the show.

Either way, I think Glover and Elston should at the very least provide complimentary hospitality to TRB, key players in SWAG and IA for our first ever game at Newmarket. It is the very least the club can do after all the fabulous effort and support these people have given the club over the years.

I think the club should give him at least lifetime membership for free and I would be well vext off if the club didn't recognize the time and effort he as put into this. I know others have been involved too and well done to them also but from my point of view looking in from the outside TRB as been at the forefront of it all.

I'd pretty much agree with that. At the start it was myself, Dave, Jinger and TRB - then as it became more about proceedure and planning etc people like me gradually dropped out - with IA taking up the slack and giving TRB the support and knowledge he needed.

It's fair to say that TRB has been the most consistent and busy member and the driving force with Dave J just behind him. Although it's been a team effort I personally do think TRB has always gone the extra yard.
