I can't wait to see what pearls of coaching wisdom Agar shares with us re his selection for the Wigan game...

A few initial thoughts...


1 - ELLIS: Must come into the team

2 - AITON: I'd move him to 13 or interchange him with Ellis correctly at 9

3 - MARIANO: Surely time to give him a game in the back row

4 - COLLIS: The guys has not looked fit/right for weeks. If not 100% right DO NOT RISK HIM!

5 - WOOD: We need a runner in the halves, I'd drop John and give Wood a go

6 - KIRMOND: Would he not help us sure out that huge gap out wide ? Move him to Centre?

7 - MELLARS/JOHN: Hate to say it but I've seen nothing from either to suggest they warrant a starting shirt.... (:

8 - SOUTHERN: He's obviously not right - take him out of the firing line so he can sort his shi# out

9 - LILLYCROP: Young prop in our reserves, surely deserves a go

10 - MOTU TONY: Another who deserves a run, question is where? FB?

11 - WALSHAW: Another who surely deserves a run


Lots of BIG decisions for Agar - let's see what the muppet comes up with...

Cant believe you missed out Wildie!

Why not Agars been doing it since he arrived.

AITON - deserves a rest for me, the work he puts in most games is huge. Save him for Leeds.

JOHNSON - sorry PJ but not seeing much of the player that earned you adoration from us fans. Hope you can turn that around.

MATHERS - Started well but last 2 games it's not been happening. Rest needed.

MELLARS - I actually think he is decent attacking but a few defensive/ positional mistakes have cost us this season.

SOUTHERN - Started season solid, but clearly needs a rest or few weeks to sort his game/ personal issues out. A captain needs to be shooting his mouth off to players when a try is conceded and raising the team.

I would like to see the above replaced with players who will be chomping at the bit or wanting to show their worth.

ELLIS and Wildie to alternate hooker.

WOOD in for either smith or John.

COLLIS back for mellars.

MORIANO in for PJ.

KIRMOND FOR SOUTHERN.

I really want to see some big changes and it has to happen after last 2 games.

TBF I forgot about him.

That said I'm personally not a huge fan. Never really seen anything that suggests to me he is SL quality. Wood & Ellis are well ahead of him IMHO.

HOWEVER, on recent form of some of our other players, maybe the lad deserves a go... ?

Wildie, Walshaw and Trout are head and shoulders above the rest in the 20's. Wildie runs the game and is creating loads - he more than deserves his chance!

The team needs a complete overhaul, they are Agars favourites we all know that but the time for massive changes is now! They have all had enough chances, time now for our fringe players who imo should have all been given game time before now, to be played on Monday. With some fresh legs, impetus and ideas we at least might give Wigan a game. I wait with interest to see what Mr Agar does ?

Walshaw is a tall lad

I've been to 2 this season and the only one to stand out is Wildie. Mariano was pretty poor and went off injured in one and Trout and Walshaw didn't do anything wrong but not great either. Like I say just the 2 games so that all I can speak on.

Agreed. Mariano has done nothing to suggest he should be playing 1st team. Wildie has been by far and away our best and has earned a shirt unlike a lot of the starters for last night!
