i think his signing was one of kear's biggest brain farts, only surpassed by playing him. liability on and off the field.

I think Latu could be great at times, Strong, fast ,poweful and effective runner from dummy half, but too much off a liability and too inconsistant to play at this level of rugby league. Also think he lacked a brain for rugby

I quite liked Latu, and as some have aluded to, he was unpredictable both off the pitch but also on it which made him quite entertaining to watch. Sometimes, you need a player or two with a bit of aggression within them, but with that came his ability to give away needless penalties.
He had a spark to his game, and certainly early on in his time with WTW he played pretty well. His last season with us wasn't the best, but he gave us good service and some memories!!
Only Leo-Latu could break a rib when going over to score with no one near him!!
