Yep, then the other 86 have the livary with all the teams on, or so i understand it.

I'm still not convinced about this deal - they look impressive all lined up like that, but the total number represents less than 5% of the Stobart fleet, so it still feels like Stobarts have walked out of the meeting with the RFL high-fiving each other in disbelief.

I understand that the arrangement leaves a lot of stuff still to sell - posts, refs, pitch markings and such - but with the season due to start in 2 days, I've heard nothing to suggest that they've done so.

Angela Powers posted on twitter that it was a fab deal beacuse she'd seen 85 Stobart trucks driving to London. Fact is she would have been lucky if 4 of those were SL one's.

Probably so Al, but the fact still stands that it's a tiny proportion of the fleet. Does anyone know who's paid for the actual livaries to be applied?

I don't think that this Stobart thing is a good idea. There should also be someone in the pot who is going to put some hard cash into the coffers not a load of trucks flying up and down the motorway with Super League livery on them. I recon Stobart must have wet himself when this deal went through. The name Stobart will be on everything and anything that does not move will be painted green and white. There will now be Stobart Super League model trucks for sale (safe bet) will the league get any of that cash? doubt it.

if there's anything that the RFL Bulls could of got right for expanding the game its this one, the trucks will tour the country

As it was the majority of the clubs who voted for this deal, do we know which way 'our' vote went?

To be fair, I think it's a calculated risk - It's good to get exposure and realistically 1 year of advertising on 100 trucks has got to be worth at least £1m. If it fails it fails, but at least they are showing initiative and not just grasping at the cash as ppl might expect.

Totally agree. If they would have been paid £1,000,000 for it they would have probably only spent it on upgrading Odsal!

I understand that the clubs who voted against the deal were Wakefield, Castleford & Leeds... good to see those three clubs agreeing on something!

Ummm I didn't start the thread, it was just a question put to me, as she asked me I'm thinking they are not that close, as our board seems to attract Cas fans I thought it was worth asking

Not a good idea for me.

Wishes should have been excluded from vote, nothing against the club but with stobart been a sponsor they were hardly going to voting anything other.
