I see cas fans are not happy bunnies over the two recent signings. What did Dicky say a few weeks backs
1.We will appoint a coach that can at least sign 6 top class players to the club
2.We will look to be signing QUALITY rather than QUANTITY

i'd leave cas alone right now.

they're building their squad, let's see what they look like after christmas before we get too full of it. there's plenty in our own squad that i'd be happy without.

i suspect that rangi has taken all the money on offer, and millward has little to play with. however until we see what they look like in a month or two it's too early to conclude that.

I'd suggest a £350,000 loss last year might be behind these signings too!

I'd rather just leave them to it. Much more interested in our signings and potential squad for 2012. Oh, and the Newmarket decision of course.

To be fair to the Cas fans they have only commented on the stupid comments the Wakey fans have put on here. Cas made had had a loss on the season but so what - Wakey went bust!!!

People in glass houses - We (Wakey) have had about 6 months of stability and some fans think the whole world has changed and everything will be ace. Lets be realists and say - yes good things are happening but there is a long way to go.

Cas positives - they have their own stadium, never been bust, recruiting steadily

Wakey - rented stadium, making heading, some good signings.

Cas are STILL ahead off the field - Wakey may have a better chance on the field next year.

Correct...you are building a decent squad for next year and lets face it, anything will be an improvement on last year, just think how you were all feeling 12 months ago, as much as this cas/wakey sniping annoys me it is something i would rather have than not have.

Incidently i do like the idea of the offer on your website regarding the season ticket purchasers going into a draw for a trip to the away game in catalan..great incentive and good marketing.

Nothing would give me greater pleasure than for both clubs to be finishing in the top 4 season after season and give a headache to the rfl.Until that happens Im more for what Wakey do than what Cas do.

Some of those creditors have been paid already even though there was no legal or moral obligation to do so by the new owners, it was a good thing to do though and thats why they paid a reported £400k in debts that belonged to someone else.

Whats happened to the posters who love to tell us that Cas pay their bills and are a "financially well run club"

They're only doing what we did under Ted; without a sugar-daddy, running a SL club is clearly a massive plate spinnning exercise and over a number of years, some of those plates are inevitably going to smash. With hindsight, it was probably fortunate for us that they all smashed at once - that was the catalyst that ousted the old regime and brought AG into the equation.

I won't gloat at Cas' signings or the losses they've posted - I'll save it all up until we do the double over them next season.

I think this year (on the pitch) for Cas is just going to be a consolidation year - they've extended the key player in Chase and all the good young players with the likes of Clark then added some players on top of that.

Next year however, you lose Ryan McGoldrick & Ryan Hudson and their rumoured 100k+ contracts, giving Millward more money to play with there.

So for me, I'm expecting a poor season from Cas as they look to have used this year to tie up key squad members ready for the year after.
