Decent news in a way (I'd rather it wasn't ambulance chasers, but that is the way of the world), but I thought the hope was to be out before 2013?

I think it is great news despite everything that has gone on over the past few months Rapid Solicitors have stuck by us and I would imagine are putting good money into the club.

By the way it doesn't matter what business the stadium sponsors are in so long as they are legitimate and are willing to give us the money.

Decision due March 2012, if approved it will be another 2-3 months for FP to be granted meaning the club will start the 2013 season at BV, and will more than likely play the majority of the season there too.

No worries, let's go back to the Regal Trophy and Silk Cut Challenge Cup then.

Why not ? we were happy enough to take all the brewery money and these products still cause more death,illness,anti social behaviour and family breakdowns than tobacco ever did

So we have a company that is coming to the end of its first year with Wakey that has decided despite the season we have had to sign up for another two years for what it says in the article a "significant deal" and we see that as a bad thing??

Clearly Rapid must be pleased with what they have got so far, id say well done to the Club, this is the kind of deal that provides the funds for us to be able to sign the likes of Ali Lauitti, Vince Mellors etc

I'd be very surprised if Martin Hopkins wasn't behind this one; in a season that has been mostly abject, I think he's been one of our best acquisitions.

The commercial side of WTW is barely recognisable since Martin took over - he loves the club and does a great job.

Has it been confirmed anywhere that AG has sorted out a new lease on BV for next season?

Not that I have seen, but Rapid Solicitors seem happy enough to sponsor the ground for the next two years so i'm guessing its in hand.

Totally agree - the commercial side of the clubs changed amazingly this year - he's done a great job for the club

I know for certain that the BoI are more than happy for us to remain as tenants as long as is necessary.
