Just watching Batley v York on SKY and they have a woman touchjudge, what a welcome inavation! after seeing the young lady in question I have to say lets see more of the same! much better than James Child or some old bloke with a white stick...

Women being asked to watch out for men cheating and acting unfairly. I can only guess that they'll spot more than they'll miss. Bring it on.

I've seen her ref in national conference league and must admit she's one of the better refs I've seen this season

It all depends on whether the RFL and the referees boss is instructing touch judges to signal for offences other than in field foul play, rather than just ignoring them as it seems to be at the moment. I would have thought that the touch judges are doing what they are told to do, the law of averages would dictate that at least one would be spotting forward passes etc.. regularly.

James Child has run onto the pitch numerous times to help us out. I'm not sure how a female will deal with chav corner.

Only got the odd glance of her, but she did appear reasonably tasty compared to that weasel faced, scrawny ginnner that usually runs the line.
