| Very harsh on both Wildie & Davey to miss out for Smith in my opinion. Thought McCarthy would have played in this one as well since he can't play next week. Would guess out of that squad Vievers & Korkidas will miss out.

| No Wildie, Davey or McCarthy?????? Smith isn't better than either Wildie or Davey from what i've seen. The only logica i can see is that Kear is resting Wildie and possibly Davey for the Cas game in the cup. McCarthy should have been in there especially as he is to miss next week.
I'd go with TheBoyem's team exceot change Smith for either of Veivers or Korkidas

That's the 19 though. Maybe it's JK's way of saying you're getting there. Don't think it's harsh on Wildie or Davey. Both have done very well but I wouldn't say either have done enough to be automatics. To be fair we have barely seen Smith play, if he's got some drive back he's certainly got the experience.

I've bagged Smith on here in the past, but I went to the reserves game on Sat and Smith played really well, deserves a shot in the first team IMO.

| I hope Kear doesn't move Lee to hooker to accomodate Smith. I would much rather see Smith play as interchange hooker and leave Wildie and Lee in the Halves.
Vievers and a prop to miss out for me.

Both played in a tough game (physically) on Sunday, and this game I think is going to be VERY physical in their area of play. Good call to leave them out. Pleased that its getting harder to pick a team now, though, for all the right reasons.

| Very hard to leave anyone out at this moment in time. Seem to recall wildie taking a knock and staying down for a short time against dons so maybe he is injured. Cru are a physical set so prob best not to play davey though in my heart of hearts I'd like to see him given a five or six game run as he always impresses me with his displays and despite his lack of weight he's deceptively strong. Veivers is solid at the back without being too spectacular, lacks real pace but is always up in support in attack, I'd have him as 18th man this week as I think we could do with blaymires experience at the back.

| Decent looking squad, and would be interesting to see if Smith plays and if so where. Think we should be looking for a win here and have a decent chance with confidence being pretty high and us playing some good stuff since well before Easter. Fixture list being potentially kind to us with this one and if we go into it with the right work ethic like the last few games and get on top with the forwards we might be able to cut loose a bit in the second half and really put the Crusaders defense to the test.
Got a good positive feeling about this one, keep momentum going for Cas.

| Hard to call (as ever) for me, thought they showed up pretty well against Leeds the other day. Hopefully the 62 won't be too harsh so we have time to get a curry down us before the match.
Surprised at Smith's inclusion hope he is fired up to stake a claim for a regular place and put the young whipper snappers in their place

We should have the same game plan as for Donny - no disrespect to the Sheep worriers intended. Forrards softening them up in the first half and getting on top, then let Keiron do the business in the 2nd half. If we stick to this and dont try to throw the ball about before winning the battle then I reckon we have a real chance of sticking some good points on the board 2nd half. Would like to see us being a bit more positive on our kick options when inside their half, too many aimless lobs over the touchline for me in recent weeks, when we have scored a hell of a lot of tries from kicks.
We had a confidence boosting easy run out on sunday, they had the snot bashed out of them by Leeds on saturday and despite having several chances to both pull away in the first half and get back into the game in the 2nd half they failed against a Leeds side that played a large amount of the game with only 14/15 men .

| I see Cahill is clear to play (Burrow is clear to land) after the 2nd worse challenge I've ever seen. RFL pulling out all the stops to justify our removal!

| TBH i don't think it was intentionally to harm Burrow, i just think he cocked up, he looked thoroughly ashamed walking off!!!
Should he have been banned? probably, but i've seen players show far more intent, and not get punished.

| It was frustration and instinct as Cahill is a pretty solid martial artist. Doesn't belong in the game. It was funny though.

That's your best ever! Nothing about that incident even barely resembled martial arts - he lunged to hack the ball with his foot and mis-timed it, nothing more. Drama queen hysterics are not helpful.

Absolutely agree - our next 7 games are:
Crusaders (A)
Catalans (H)
Salford (A)
Huddersfield (H)
Harlequins (A)
Hull FC (H)
Hull KR (A)
Barring Huddersfield all those are winnable - We've already beaten 4 of those 7 teams.
I'm not foolish enough (or rose tinted enough) to believe we will win them all but 4 from those 7 (which takes us to 3rd July) would put us on 14 points and I'd hazard a guess that that would put us above a fair number of other teams come franchise decision time. Better than 4 from 7 could see us challenging for 8th spot.
We have a massive few weeks ahead of us, with the cup game in there as well. Now is the time to get behind the team and help them get the results that will make the RFL's decision increasingly more difficult.
