Seems as though Taulima Tautai is the foreign star we are signing not the promising Vave, apparently Taulima Tautai has gone awol and failed to report for cronulla training. GREAT!!

he is a nut job by all accounts was done at paramatta for drinking and driving!

Well if thats the case he might not get a visa and hes a centre not a prop so hopefully vave

he played in the forwards last year though.

Vave is liked a lot and seems to a be a fantastic prospect i heard it was a done deal so fingers crossed!!!!!!!

Both would be good additions to our squad if we can fit them in.
Would be happier with Vave after what I've read online.

At least we know he's coming ready to go, unlike Queensland Cup players and the like, who can take months to get up to speed- as we saw last term!

Tautai is a centre and would be a straight replacement for Parker, however, at the season lauch we were told that it was a prop that we were close to signing.

The guy who told me it [imight [/ibe Tautai is VERY well connected with the sharks... the club have been pretty quiet only that they are on a training camp at the moment and Tautai might not be with them?!?

Vave is VERY well thought of at the Sharks and along with Johnny Mannah

TT is a solid young player who joined the sharks as an outside back.. but tbh looked a little lost when he played in the centre... He looked much happier when moving into the pack and played wide left channel most of the season... solid rather than spectacular no great pace but very strong and good offload.
I don't know of any discipiniary issues at all...

However he is not a prop... so if the club are claiming to sign an NRL prop then it is not him!

All seems to have gone quiet with regards the NRL prop. Have yesterdays developments scuppered it?

According to kear he hoped to announce a signing last friday and another on tuesday or today so god knows to both!
