Has anything happened regarding the ownership of the club?

A little while back ted announced they were talking to prospective owners and were happy to stand aside etc

Any update? Has this all gone away now?

Still no news yet but if you look at most sports takeovers such as the ones at Manchester City Chelsea and Liverpool, nobody had heard hardly anything about the takeovers untill they wetre actually being announced to the media so the fact that we arn't currently hearing anything doesn't mean nothing is happening.

May be we will know at the next shareholders meeting

Any individual or group considering taking ownership of the club are likely to be waiting for the OPP to be decided before making any decisions, so it seems perfectly reasonable that we haven't heard anything yet; I very much doubt that we will until the new stadium us all systems go - or not.

No investor is going to put the kind of money in, that we need until our future is certain.

No point disscussing this until we get the new ground set in stone as the club isnt worth anything until the ground is there.

So to answer the opening question, no we are stuck with Ted and family for the forseeable future and will continue to lurch from one financial disaster to another.

If no one is prepared to come in and take over - yes - but there is plenty of effort going in to change this.

Can we predict the outcome - well without OPP then yes, we can, with OPP, hopefully we will become a far more attractive proposition for someone!
