I fear we could be on the way to this. There is next season to carry on our loss run. Looking at other teams signings and intentions for next season this could be an unwanted record we could achieve. Anyone know the current record for a consecutive losing streak..?

We haven't announced our signings for next season, so I don't think it's fair to compare yet. Unless you have some insider knowledge???!!!

We've a long way to go yet. Halifax won their first game in 2003 and then lost the next 27.

To rub salt into the wound, they had those two points deducted for a salary cap breach the season before.

Id be happy with a team of hard to beat tryers next year and then start getting the talent when we are in our newground. Save the stars for the new ground then we will be playing in a nice stadium and have the stars fit for it !

That season we won 7 out of 30 - 3 of which were against that hapless 'Fax team - and finished second bottom.
There's been some high points in between but, have we really progressed that much since 2003?
I say no we haven't.

We have raised expectations in this time but little else. We have failed to build on a couple of very good seasons in this time. We are probably no better off financially and not really any better off attendnce wise. We still operate on a shoestring selling off our best players and gambling on triers, players who've lost their way and players from the National Leagues. We will not progress until we have more money, a better team and more bums on seats but it's difficult to see in what order or if indeed any of the above is possible.

That sums up pretty much how I feel too JT.
3 wins from last 19 games has made most of us pretty depressed and negative I suppose.
Trouble being, at this time, I can't see next season being any better

I think we all know that next season could be tough - but that's what we need to know - that we need to be tough in there.

The business of running a SL club, within the stadium we have currently, is very difficult. We know if it rains it knocks 1,000 off the gate. We know that people don't come because of BV's facilities and therefore we struggle with numbers. Numbers = sponsorship and so on.....

Next year, and starting from now, we need to build some momentum towards the move to a new stadium. This is our chance to break the chain!

you do amaze me with the amount of kicks in the gonads we have had this season you just keep fighting back,

for all the stick you get I wish our team had the same effort that you put in,

its now the club ought to start telling us what they are going to do next season to make up for this miserable one we have just left

The sooner we all get our head around the fact that we need to be pulling in the same direction, the sooner we will start to get this juggernaut moving forward again.

I started helping the club 10 years ago - when all was doom and gloom. It's been a while now, but the fighting spirit remains. They don't like it up 'em!
