agreed- but letting Obst and Drew share the hooking role and playing leo as a utility back might be messing about too much. But then who do you put on the wing??????
If we are seeing Grix as a future stand off then he needs as much game time there as possible. |

A few months ago Jk did a feature in Rugby League World (can I find at this moment in time- can I chuff) and I'm sure it featured Grix at stand off.

Thats a BIG plus for any squad and i think he could make a good 6, Nathan Brown likes him too. Maybe he wants out and is sick of being "winged" or its just the usual merry go round of RL. who knows.

Correct,It also had Danny Brough as a future England scrum half if I remember rightly!
It was a small feature about the prospects of English players with regards the disaster that happened in the last World Cup with England. |

Can't remember him playing stand off for any length of time, only the odd game.
Why would Kear have him at stand off in a feature in a magazine but not in a team that doesn't have a stand off? |

Which still baffles me.
I think Grix thinks he's being helpful covering the wing when Jk could have just brought a winger in let Grix get some much needed experience in a pivotal role. |
