Any of you Peteresen fans still want to defend him, just how many tries did he score compared to Luke since his return, how many times did Luke come looking looking for "hard yards" last night when he could have done a "PETO" and stayed on the wing.

Comparing the two is a bit of a waste of time really just so you can have a pop at peterson, they both have had injury problems, and wingers rely on service, which is in itself inconsistent as a means of comparison.
Just be happy that the one you didn't like has gone and luke is doing well and so are we.
I would have thought it would have made more sense putting on a "luke george is doing well" thread, more than a "I hate peto and will take every oppo' to rubbish him" thread, especially when according to your posting on another thread you say he's (luke) leaving!!

George has benefited from some wonderful set up play from Gleeson, Moore and Drew. Given those opportunities i think Petersen would've scored. Still glad George is going well. Hopefully Trinity can keep hold of him and start baring fruit from all the time they have invested in him.

A number of players could well be up for the "dick turpin" award most seasons, this one being no different, you just seam to love the blame peto for everything thread, just praise luke for what he's doing it's far more constructive!!

Its just my opinon that Peto did not earn his corn, don't think i am blaming him for anything else other than that, the clubs brought over a long line of pups and he's just one more name to add to the list.

Luke's second try took an age to score, and he was only two yards out. Had to nip around two or three defenders, and I'm not sure Peterson would have scored it, as I think he would have just blasted for the line.

Whenever I've seen him, I haven't had a problem with Peterson, and I think he lacks decent service. You have to put Luke's tries into context, in that we played a lacklustre Celtics side, half of whom were waiting for a knock on the door from men in shiny caps, and a Wire side trying not to get injured.

I think Luke has got more of a natural rugby brain. Like his second try last night, when he scored against Wire at home, he had to change direction, assess what was around him, and score the try. There was more than just pace going on. I'd like to see him bulk up more and get some aggression, and then switch into the centres.

I have always said though I would much rather see a young british player than an expensive import especially in the wing position.

Luke has such potential and despite his small frame holds his own and always scores plenty of tries. I hope he stays fit and becomes a first team trin legend.

It was a quick scoot by George on the 3rd tackle followed by a quick play the ball that set up Obst's first try.

As Petersen is still a Wakey player should we not try supporting them both?

Lets hope that if/when Petersen plays again he gets some ball from his centre and gets a decent injury free run to show us what he can do.

George does seem to have kicked on since his last spell in the first team before his injury. Lets hope he continues or he'll soon be the next 'sick note' scapegoat!

i think that you will find that peterson will not wear a wakefield shirt again, paid off a while ago.

Can’t argue with his return of 4 tries in 2 games or his work rate
Disappointed with him last week just before the Celtic try he was put into a huge gap but instead of backing himself and pinning his ears back he kicked the ball
Then when Celtic got the try he did appear to lack a yard of pace for a winger
Not the best under the high ball
Still needs to bulk up a bit
Overall looks like he could develop into a decent winger

Wait untill the club says so, our clubs captains word is not enough.
