The bloke is an absolute write off. What tony smith sees in him i really dont know....pace to burn yes, but he has no other RL attributes... his simple skills such as catching a ball are only 50/50... He's just not good enough, simple as that.

I think it would be worth seeing what Kear could do with Penny. He has something that can not be coached, everything else can be installed into him. Just look at the marked improvement of Paul White whilst at Wakefield. His main attribute was pace and had little else about his game but the season before his departure he turned into a fairly competent winger. Not sure how his career has gone since he left though.

If he was free and on little money then i think it could be worth a gamble.

I felt a bit sorry for him (when I wasn't laughing) and I think he was just trying too hard. Playing for his Wembley slot, I expect. He needs to learn to calm down and concentrate, that's all.

His place at Wembley is guaranteed - in the stands. He was considered for the role of water carrier but they were scared he'd spill it.

dont feel sorry for him at all. when they beat us at their place and he was taking the p..s out of blance.he deserves all he fets. what goes round come s round. i wouldn;t have him doing the water carrying , we have far better lads coming through the academy.
