| after the promotions this year i am starting to think that being a season ticket holder has no benefits. i have missed 3 home games this year due to holidays and work and have also seen the "offers" available for some games. personally i presume that i have lost out over the season even though i go home and away. surely the club should have some kind of loyalty scheme to season ticket holders .. or should i just enrol my daughter in to the wildcat kittens and get free entry !!!!
hope that somebody can tell me that i am wrong because the club seems now to encourage more of the dancing than the rugby
and before i get the "club makes money etc" i have bought my son his £100 worth of shares so we are all committed to the club, just would like a "fair deal"

| I can see where you are coming from and I do agree to an extent, but looking away from the money we need days like today for the longevity of the club, if today sells one or two more season tickets and picks up a few "casual" fans as well then it is a success as well as planting the seed in the mind of the youngsters for the future.
I think that the club may need to build a bit more "loyalty" into the season ticket structure and hope they will look at this for the future

| A similar theme to a reply I just posted in the Diversity thread, the club needs to be careful, it's a tough balancing act to keep season ticket holders happy and making it worthwhile, while at the same time trying everything they can to promote games and get new fans through the turnstiles.
A new ground can't come quick enough, I'm sure it will help the club and marketing team massively.

| agree snowie..ten per cent on shirts (3 kids) beanie x 2, baseball hat x 2..it all mounts up after laying out £175 .. to the cynic the club are trying to get as much as possible off the loyals and give the "pick the game crew" and "dancing daughters" the big discounts !
also... are the dancing girls benefits due to the tie up between the dolls leader and the departed mr elston?
i wonder if the dolls leader contributes to the club due to the free publicity that she gets ? sponsors have to pay for less exposure than her business gets. ![Rolling Eyes icon_rolleyes.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_rolleyes.gif)

| An ongoing issue - not easily solved.
Suggest you all investigate the 'benefits' if the new season ticket offer before saying too much more. It seems to me to more than compensate for the offers afforded to try and boost the potentially embarrassing gates!

| The season ticket prices for next year include a 'loyalty' discount and season ticket holders will be eligible to purchase an away shirt for £25 (not sure if that includes medium size ![Smile icon_smile.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_smile.gif) ).
So the club are going some way towards meeting the above concerns.

| Although I haven’t looked it up, the benefits of having a season ticket are not solely based on 2-3 free matches a season. There are numerous tie ups with local business which allows you discounts on their products and I believe that season ticket holders get discounts in the club shop. Off the top of my head the Celtic, Catalans, Harlequins and Wigan matches all had a discount of some sort but if you add up the amount for an adult male you would’ve saved £20.50 compared to a £54 saving for season ticket holders over the year.

| You may note a first post on this issue reflecting the personal interest in the topic. Like crowt123 I have concluded similar thoughts on the positives negatives of season ticket investment and would throw in another slant.
As a father of three under ten year old, male, passionate RL and Trinity (sorry Wildcat) fans the sum effect of this seasons commendable efforts by the club to attract new fans has been frustration at not being able to see most of the rugby action (as more dancing means more adults standing at the pitch perimeter) and questioning as to why is all the game day entertainment more attractive to little girls?
As a long time supporter I am keen to see a secure top flight future for the club. I no longer live in the district, so game day is a reasonable effort, particularly with three kids. I am sure I am not the only mum/dad who has worked hard to maintain their kids interest in the game, in a terrible stadium for young spaectators.
I hope the cost benefit of the investment in dancing and live acts is actually being considered because I for one fear the genuine benefit of a day like yesterday may be a considerable number of people who came to see a TV act, didn't appreciate there was a crucial end of season game going on, who will not darken the clubs door again until Susan Boyle or whoever is on next turns up. Effectively has this transient group at £10 a throw simply paid for Diversity?
Concluding, I would like to think that speaking up for the signed up junior season ticket holders (the genuine future of the club) the investment in a season ticket should give them the opportunity to secure as decent a vantage point in the ground as is possible as they appear to be the biggest losers on a day like yesterday.
That's it...rant over, you wont hear from me again for another 5 years!

| With regard to 2010 season tickets, the 'loyalty' and 'early bird' purchases will mean the eligibility for the £25 away shirt.
Stated prices as an example are:
Ground adults:
Loyalty £175
Early bird £185
Standard £200
Family ground:
Loyalty £382
Early bird £410
Standard £440
I don't know the 'cut off' date for the 'early bird' offer and there is also the facility to pay monthly for a small additional charge.
PS I accept no responsibility regarding the accuracy of the above, in other words don't blame me and contact the official sources. ![Smile icon_smile.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_smile.gif)

The club are doing everything to try and protect our junior fans and make the whole experience a 100 times better - but it's in Stanley! ![Wink icon_wink.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_wink.gif)

Im in a similar position, i have a season ticket, shares and i work ! which means i miss certain games during the season - however, i still attend around 80% of all games, both home and away...
In view of all the promotional work, and good promotional work it is, there does seem to be less in it as such for the season ticket holder....
wouldnt it be nice if it was announced that if you have a season ticket for this season, for a limited period of time, you have an oppotunity to purchase a season ticket for next season, for the same stand, at half price?!

You make some good points but if i can add.
1 The club shop "packed out before the game"
2 The Tea bar "packed out during the game"
3 The beer wagon "packed out during the game"
How much revenue the club gets through these outlets (shop obviously) i don't know, would like to think of the bigger picture maybe?
I won't wait 5 years for a reply ![Wink icon_wink.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_wink.gif)

| think we do ok as ticket holders. as others have said should look at the bigger picture. the dance groups do a fantastic job with the kids and on game days. add a lot to the day, i don't care how many offers are sprinkled about as long as it benefits everyone in the long run. thought yesterday was brilliant. a massive pat on the back for the club. a great day had by all. even some of the lads from wales were smiling and said they enjoyed the day. can't be bad. ![Wink icon_wink.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_wink.gif)
