For me, the press got it right. JD had a stormer.

Thought the whole team had a cracking game, but gone for blaymire, thought he had yet another solid performance.

Brough.

Did absolutely everything in the game apart from kick a 40/20.

A try, plenty of assists, few good breaks, some great passes, some top tackles, a bit of biff, touchline conversion, a yellow card, a red card.

Any coincidence that our worst spell of the game was when he was in the bin?

I reckon he would have walked it with the press aswell but for the red card, he still deserved it for me though even taking into account his stupidity.

Got to give Korki and Bibey a mention, but JD just in front of Broughy for me.

Hendo was superb: loads of time, tackled well and ran at them without fear.

was making a point of watching stosic in defense today and he was awesome, ball man the lot every time.

i must have missed something with jd today, or maybe i just take his level of performance for granted!

he certainly did. cant believe people are voting for db he gave away four penaltys one sin bin one intercept try and sent off. He has let his team and CLUB down at a bad time and he should be feeling terrible. He needs to grow up and mature.

Difficult to pick someone who stood out throughout the game, without having some negative impact too. Thought Gleeson and Stosic started off pretty well wheras Sam and Rich Moore came good towards the end. Broughy gave Celtic too many leg-ups for my liking. JD is always a good vote in games like today's but i've gone for Stosic.

Danny Brough was by far the best player on the field today , even though he ended up been sin binned & sent off. He will know that he shouldnt get drawn in to fights & back chatting but that is what you get with DB .When someone comes at him he doesnt back down , & for everything that he did today the Celtic scrum half was as bad yet the ref didnt penalise him at all, even though though he did get pulled over 3 times by the official for a quiet word in his ear.
Sam Obst had a really good game with his tackling ( especially the chase back tackle ) as did Richie moore with his half time tackle on Dyer & a cracking offload to Luke George for his 2nd try.
Wakey have now to be aware that teams will try & use spoiling tactics to upset the rhythm of the game when they know that over a straight 80 minutes Wakey can match most top clubs , because we used to the same thing

Brough by a country mile.(imho) Im amazed at the stick he gets sometimes. Yes he shouldn't have reacted the way he did, but it all stemmed from the Celtic players 'starting on him', which they did deliberatley because they could see he was running the game,............yes he shouldn't react, but he is human. Nobody mentions (when talking about stupidity) that Sam gave away possesion on the second tackle (trying a silly long pass to Grix) right at the start of the game, and then compounded it by giving away a silly penalty, allowing CC to clear their lines when we sould have been 6-0 up..........

But like i said..........they're all human, and make mistakes from time to time................imho





and yes i am a fan of Sam.

Brough obviously did the headline stuff, especially when we were miles in front but some of his kicking etc at the beginning of the game was pretty woeful and would have been a waste vs anyone half decent.

I also noticed Brad Drew was particularly selfish at the start of the game and i think that started Brough's frustration.

At the start and throughout thought Hendo was everywhere and Stosic was very good, Bibey too.

boring but true ut if drew does not win it this week with db and jd out brough wins!

Doesn't it just leave it to a battle between JD and Brough? And surely it will depend on some possible playoff games?

Had to be DB for me,but also who needs Atkins when big Richie Moore can run up left centre & put the winger in with a superb pass like all good centres should!!!!
