How is he not one of the best centres in the country?

Indeed he's English and plays centre in SL therefore he must be one of the best 'English' centres in this country.

In my eyes you have to warrant the title "one of the best" and I'm afraid he does'nt.

Fair enough, but putting your opinion aside for one moment, he plays in the top level of Rugby League in this country in the centre position and has represented his country at international level. So the facts point to him being one of the best centres in this country and there appears to be nothing to laugh at. I could understand your contempt if the article quoted him as being the best (or even one of the best centres in the world), but it doesn’t.
