The players came out like they be bothered and it didnt get much better compare this to the last two weeks and you cant believe the difference..

With so many of them going to Cas next season perhaps they didn’t want to upset Terry and end up out of his clique.

I thought it was obvious we have just come off the two (maybe even 3) hardest back to back games and it was one game too far.
I'll judge them after seeing how we come back from this against Salford on Friday.

No big dilema here. As said above, some hard games caught up with us. Cas are in form, especially away from home and the weather was horrible.
We made too many mistakes, they kicked some goals....lets look at Salford now.

Agreed. Although both teams were awful!! Seen far better amateur games.

I would like to think thats part of the problem we had yesterday, still onwards and upwards and bring on Salford.

There wasn't really much between the two sides throughout the game. The conditions were a great leveller.
I thought Cas/Chase had a better kicking game, putting Blaymire on the back foot a lot. Blaymire doesn't make much ground when he takes the ball early and cleanly. He makes even less when he's had to dither about for a while before taking the ball.
We also got very few 50:50 decisions from Smith. I still haven't heard what happened that gave Cas that penalty that got them 8-6 up. Whatever it was it upset Smith for the rest of the game and he became very pedantic.
As badly as we played we could still have won the game until JD gave them that last two pointer. That gave them the cusion and the winddown of the clock.

Brough threw a wobbler after Cas knocked on and Trinity gained no advantage as a result. Smith penalised Brough for dissent.

That was for dissent wasn't it? Presumably one of the Wakey players expressed their opinion of him allowing the 'advantage' from the Cas knock-on as the ball went back about 10m and ended up with Stosic (I think it was) being tackled just outside the in-goal area.

was dissent against danny b, i mean brough was right there was no advantage, but you could see in the spped of the whistle that he perhaps did not put over his views in a polite manner!
