I was just gonna post on terry Newton thread that, if its gone public officially and we're making out that we want to keep drew and he has not decided on his future ( which is not what rumour suggests ) then he will probably soon make his mind up!!!!

its no good parading new signings when we are still in the season there is no need. Especially the likes of a has been Terry Newton, but he can offer our youngsters a lot as he has got great experience and was very good for Great Britain he was not scared of the Aussies that lad.

Agreed. Newton could have an indian summer at Wakey. JK and PB are the sort of people that players will listen to and play for. I rate Newton very highly - hope he loses 7 - 10 lbs and pushes his way back into an international jesrey - if he has the right mind set then this is achievable.

Time and again you are forced to eat humble pie as you pick on one player or another to satisfy whatever it is you need satisfying. So why don't you just welcome yet another new players and see what happens instead of spouting garbage about has been.

Every team needs a leader on the field. Newton is one of those. It will be a shame if it means that Drew is going, and they would be perfect interchange hookers, but Newton is niggly and aggressive, and just the sort of attributes that teams like ours need, where we maybe have to play above ourselves to get to where we would like to be.
