| I'm not the best at predicting the results but I think these will be the play off places
1st leeds v 4th warrington
2nd st helens v 3rd huddersfield
5th hull KR v 8th wakefield
6th wigan v 7th harlequins
7th and 8th position will be through points difference and below the top 8 hearts will be broken as they too will suffer through points difference IMHO

Is that how it's being done this time around ? I thought the top team was to have a choice as to who they played ?

| I think this is how they are doing it this year,
1st v 4th and 2nd v 3rd, with both winners into semis at home, the losers then play at home to the winners of 5th v 8th and 6th v 7th, Then the highest ranked winner from the first round gets to pick their semi final opponent at home. simples! ![Confused icon_confused.gif](//www.rlfans.com/images/smilies//icon_confused.gif)

| I think it's London we need to drop out of the 8 to give us a chance. Cas are looking good at present. Below them I thinks it's over.
Top 4 will probably stop is is Leeds, Saints, Shudds and Hull KR. Then Wigan, Wire, Cas then us or London.

Don't think we're looking too bad to be honest, Hull were supposedly absolutely dire yesterday, there's even a thread titled worst hull side I've seen darn t'lane on their forum, but fair play to cas you can only play whats in front of you. Its gunna be an exciting end to the season, lets hope Kear can inspire the players in the same way he did when he first joined us. Find it amusing how the Bulls have struggled this season as some (not all) of their fans ignorance and arrogance before the season started beggars belief, the majority though they were shoe-ins for a top 4 spot, how the mighty have fallen!

| I reckon the top 8 will be:
St Helens
Leeds
Huddersfield
Hull K R
Wakefield
Catalans
Harlequins RL
Castleford
I have of course assumed Wakefield will win 5 games
Both Wigan and Warrington have a hard run in and have cup to think about. They will just miss out.
Some tight games will decide 4-8 though

would be very surprised if wire and pies miss out but stranger things have happened i suppose. as for catalans i think their inconsistency will screw em up

| The remaining fixtures for all those clubs on 20 points are these (suggested winners in bold):
Salford v Castleford
St Helens v Wakefield
Bradford v Wigan
Catalans Dragons v Harlequins
Huddersfield v Warrington
Wigan v Leeds
Harlequins v St Helens
Wakefield v Castleford
Warrington v Salford
Leeds v Warrington
Salford v Wakefield
St Helens v Wigan
Bradford v Harlequins
Castleford v Hull KR
Leeds v Castleford
Wigan v Warrington
Harlequins v Salford
Wakefield v Celtic Crusaders
Hull v Harlequins
Castleford v Wigan
Warrington v Wakefield
Wigan v Hull
Catalans Dragons v Wakefield
Harlequins v Castleford
Hull KR v Warrington
Castleford v Celtic Crusaders
Huddersfield v Wigan
Wakefield v Hull KR
Warrington v Harlequins
If my maths is correct, that would make it 5th to 9th as follows:
5th Wigan
6th Wakefield
7th Quins
8th Warrington
9th Castleford
The two crucial games are Cas and Wire, and if Wire get to Wembley, we play them the week before, and so that would be good for us, and would mean we could afford to slip up on one of the winnable games.
So we get Quins at home and then Wigan away. Probably Saints away after that, with chance for revenge for last Friday against Leeds at Old Trafford.
Best get my ticket. Don't want to miss that one.

| I did the same thing but just put less wins for Wigan. I think their injuries and loss of Hock will hurt them.
Also, Cas have really good away form this season so I think I gave them an extra win to you.

| Going to be tight and I think 7 to 9 will all come down to points difference.
We need to defend on Friday and keep Saints as low as we can, preferably lower than us but I'm afraid I cannot see it. Would love to be eating humble pie with my pint on Friday.
