I'm surprised that rugby hasn't really taken on as a sport over here (although the union game is quite strong where we live). For a nation that is on average quite large and athletic in stature - big generalisation, I know - they can be surprisingly "wussy" too.... which may explain their collective penchant for swallow-diving Klinsmen instead.

That's what I am saying.... This year was the ebst chance they will have for a long time IMO. Most of them will not be able to play in the next competition as they will be too old. And the players coming through don't seem to be all that good these days.


Much prefer to watch the under 21's to the senior team tbh.

If they are that good then we should have a decent senior team soon and they should be challenging for honours.

In all honesty I prefer to watch paint dry than most international football involving England.

They should be, but knowing England it will never happen.

Most of them up there own backsides now and have no passion to play for the country. It should be a honour yet they get paid for it
