To get in free though need a ticket, you can go on club website and fill out a form to get a ticket sorted

My t'other half has tried one game in her lifetime (earlier this season) and that was enough for her, no interest at all whether free or not.

In an attempt to get more people through the turnstiles, why don't we give free entry to a group of people who will potentially want to come again?

Which group though? Plenty of free tickets given out to schools in the area they don't seem to come back. Plenty of free tickets given out to those whose junior teams play at half time but most of those don't even stay till the end let alone come back. Think the ladies day is more just a gimmick to raise the attendance at a fixture where we will struggle even more than normal.

That would be up to the marketing team to earn their money when they most need to.

One suggestion...

Why not put a thousand tickets aside and get out and about tapping into the community and finding out why the punters aren't turning up to support the team. Come up with a short survey with a dozen or so questions relating to why people don't come and anything that could be done to entice them down.

For giving up five minutes of their time and completing the survey, a free ticket is given to that person.

And those tickets would be flogged in the pubs and outside the ground on match days and incur a loss of revenue to WT.

Yeah but it would be a short term loss, if any of the people who went just because they got one of the legit free ones and they come back - its all worth it.

My missus has suddenly decided she wants to go to the game this aft' Anybody any free tickets spare or any ideas to save me £18?
