Every professional player should know exactly what they are 'consuming' - it's their livelihoods at stake to not do check and double check everything against the banned lists.

I totally agree, but was he genuinly that naive and genuinly didnt know he was consuming a banned substance or, is the statement 'all for show' and he is hopeful of resurecting his career....we can only speculate, we will never know the truth...

Either he's very intelligent, or they have very good press guys in the NRL. Lovely statement full of remorse and platitudes. Too easy to say "I didn't know what I was taking" than to admit you did something wrong, knowingly. Not that I am saying this is the case here, but it's the same excuse you hear so many times....

If I'd have Ryan Hudson back in a shot, I'd have no problem giving him a chance - same as anyone else. Having said that, I don't think I've seen him play!

sorry mate but i wouldn't touch hudson or any other drug cheat. there are enough decent , hard working , honest rugby league players to choose from, without having to bring in these people, it sends the wrong messages out to younger players. if i had my way it would be a minimum ban of 5 years.

All he needs to do is wrap some towel round his head, stand on a street corner in London and get stuck into some good old fashioned hate speaking.
