brough or tony martin

i think tony martin because its take pressure off danny brough
and tony martin would of kicked them goals yesterday

His percentages in the NRL was quality but in Broughy we must trust

Nah we can't trust him after wearing that Cas shirt

I've been the same thing for a few weeks. Martin was kicking well early season but soon as brough comes back he takes over straight away! Why?

not sure but broughy should sit back for me, not cost us the points as we would still of been short but it may of put a bit more pressure on the dulls

Been beating on about this for ages!

When DB is on an 'on' day his goalkicking is fantastic - but when he isn't he is prone to missing relatively easy ones e.g. the one nearly in front of the posts at Cas.

From what I have seen I am more confident when Martin is kicking, and cannot understand why he isn't 1st choice (didn't he have 85/86% strike rate before joining us?) Why at least didn't he get the nod after Danny had missed a few yesterday



... maybe their stats show up differently in training.

Broughy normaly gets the sort of kicks he missed on Sunday.

And may have got them, no one knows for sure if he would have got them

Martin should be first choice kicker and Broughy as back up but i've got a feeling it won't change.

For me its Martin with Brough and Rooney as backup

agree with that, martin i think is the better allround goal kicker but brough from his correct side is excellent..couldn't make sundays game due to little un playing in a footy gala but i would hazard a guess that broughy's were from his wrong side.

overall i would go with martin and broughy as backup.

On the bright side, a choice of 3 good kickers is better than relying on Rooney like a couple of years ago

Got to be Brough for me, yes he had a bad day Sunday but as a general rule he is a quality goal kicker.

Did he miss easy ones or were they on the touchline?

Wouldnt say easy, should have kicked them.

As a general rule his touch line kicking is world class. Probably missed 4 'kickable' goals all season. But he has probably kicked double that from the touchline.

Probably needs to keep his focus a little more. Wasnt a problem last year.

Relax he will come good

i knew this would cause problems having a choice of kickers every time we miss a kick we can not put the next one in line to kick it would just compound the pressure to be successful with every kick.

games are lost and won on the conversions at times , we should move on.
