my 2 had a great day today and it was good that the seniors were back at school so they got more time.

boys now looking forward to the mini Olympics before the hull game.

the kids got all of this for free today and a ticket for the hull game..onwards and upwards

Well done to the club, they get many things right and recieve little praise IMO.

If this had have been a "club negative thread" we would have been on page 9 by now.

very true al. many of these events actually go un noticed like discos and stadium tours ect ..
when we play at Huddersfield in July they are taking the young ones all together as a group on coaches that should be another good day for them.

This is true - but we are performing a service - of sorts - if people want to look into some of the things talked about.

Yes the coms department and other parts of the club are superb, and its no surprise if it involves James Elston, Davide Longo, or Sarah Robinson it normally well organised, professional and well thought. James and Davide who I have had the pleasure in working with over the years are foward thinking, dynamic young men who the Club should hold onto no matter what it costs.

The biggest loss to wakefield over the years was Steve Ferris, these two would be the next if we dont keep them. Well done boy's

Cue loads of negative comments about why haven't we kept him etc....

this is a great chance for Davide longo to step up a gear , did he not get a promotion just recently. i know Davey as wakey at heart and would love to progress

its gonna get popular now

James has done a cracking job at the club and i wish him all the best at KR. Hopefully those still involved will step up and do an even better job. The work they do in the community could well frame the success of the club in the future.

Hope there secure Davide future with the club as he is already doing a great job, wonder if theres a marketing job going

The positive is that it gives the club the chance to appoint someone new who will bring new ideas, new approach, new enthusiasm, new desire, new drive.

James has done a good job he will leave on good terms. The opportunity for the club to appoint the right person to replace James and to be also given a marketing role to promote the club in a positive light to all media outlets is a great window of opportunity.

I am with you on that and like you I think James has done a good job .

Absolutely - and it sounds like he has agonised over the decision before agreeing to move!

Thats a shame he seemed a nice guy and I thought very effective at delivering the message in a positive way everytime I saw him.

Move on and get somebody else doing the job who you never know may be a bigger success.

Say what you want about KR we could do with some of their ambition (and money)

Davie as been primed for this during the last few months and will be ok some sad fans from opposing clubs may have a brain fart put 2 ans 2 together and get 5 but i assure you that foundations have been left in place . Sarah as far as i know will also be staying

As for a replacement, Ed Curran has been alongside James for a number of years. I see no reason why he shouldn't step up to fill the void.

There are a lot of people who form an opinion, of what the club is and isnt doing right, purely based on the week to week results on the field...

we get beat and suddenly the community staff are slated for not bringing enough fans in....WISCA are slated for not having anything to report on a new ground.....

we win on the field, suddenly the community aspect is thriving and WISCA are back in the good books - it really makes me laugh sometimes - so many fickle folk !

Always found Davide very professional and he does a lot of excellent work for the club. I'm sure if a promotion is given to him he will bring a lot to any role.
