After many weeks of the same faces in the top eight it's highly likely that there will be a change after this coming weekends fixtures. That 2 points and big win has come just in time to give us a bit of a buffer. Wins by Wigan and Wire at the weekend could see Cas and Hull drop out of the 8?

we certainly have some winnable games to cement our place within the 8 its up to the guys now the next 2 games are there to be won bradford then hull at home

Not that confident about Hull, as far as I can recollect we have only
beaten them once at home in SL era

it is a winnable game though out our remaining 12 fixtures i think we are capable of 5 or 6 wins

I've been down at the ground almost every day for the last two weeks or so and the spirit amongst the team is superb.

Its good to hear too! Hopefully another win on Sunday and our season could be back on track. Think there'll be a few surprises in the second half of the season as virtually every team other than Celtic seems capable of beating anyone on their day and the likes of Wigan and Wire have finally turned the corner.

just a quick asside to what I posted a few minutes ago:

The signing of Korkidas seems to have gone down great with the other players, he's fitted straight back in as though it was always so. . .

I expected this to be honest, there's still a few players at the club who were here while he was with us. Korki may not be the complete rugby league player and may fall behind with the skill levels of someone like Scully but one thing he will bring to the team is pride and passion for the club and he will be up for the fight. I remember the award ceremony the year he left, he was in tears and didn't want to leave, its obvious Wakey has a special place in korkis heart and that can only be good for us, he'll take us forward and do a job for us. I'm not labelling him as the messiah but I genuinely believe he will be pleased to be back and will give his all for the cause

Shame he played like a clown for us. Quite surprised in that case why he left Wakefield to go elsewhere.

Because we looked nailed on for relegation at the time Salford offered him a contract. But then came "No fear it's only Kear".

he did not get on with tony smith and he was wasting away getting about 10minutes a game so when salford came sniffing he took the gamble and pledged himself to the reds. along came kear and the rest is history .
as far as i know he left to get shot off smith hence why he was upset after his last game at wakey .

korky left a hero in many eyes and thats why so many fans arms were fully open to welcome him back last week.

So. After tonight's results. Hull drop out of the 8 for the 1st time this season. Wigan get into it for the 1st time this season.
If Wire beat Cas by more than 21 points tomorrow they will swap places.
Reckon that could be the final 8.

I hope so, but watch out for bratford and the catalans

Not much chance of that happening TBF, and we always give Hull two points at BV so the Bulls game is one we need to win.


IMO we won't finish in the 8.
