| Tis time again to rack the brains for factual or fictional stories about past Wildcats / Trinity games - this time against Hull FC.
Stories can be home or away / cup or league and can be personal stories surrounding the game as well as memories on the pitch.
I can think of a couple of good ones straight off - but I'd much rather hear about yours!
Over to you!

| the greatest hull memory has to be the playoff victory. anticipation all day prior to the game spending the prior week as the underdogs. i always enjoy trips to the KC stadium anyway however this one was slightly different especially with so much on the line. as a fan it was the greatest feeling ever especially when JD crossed the line to score and complete what had to be one of our biggest ever upsets in the recent history of Wakefield trinity. The journey home was one of the greatest ever singin all the way home on the bus.

| The 2 standouts are the CC semi final and the 2004 playoff game at Hull
Despair and Delight in total contrast. Oh and the fact we always seem to struggle at home V Hull.

Come on, be realistic. It was 73 yards. With 7 Hull players on his back (the other 6 had been skittled with a single hand off).
Up there with Korki's other great legend. Amazing what smacking a Fev player in a friendly can do for you.

| I can't remember the year but it would be around 1979/80. We we at the Boulevard and early in the game Andy Fletcher intercepted pretty much on our own line and ran the length of the field to score. 3 point tries then so with the conversion we were 5-0 up. We tackled our hearts out for the rest of the game and won 5-2 - nerve wracking and I think it rained for much of the game. Wins at the Boulevard in those days were pretty rare.

Best thing about those two games is that it shows the level of support we could/can get with a bit of success.

| No doubt about it for me. First season back up under Toppo as coach away at the Boullethingy Ground. Third or forth game of the season. Smiling Andy Kelly intercepts to go under posts in last few mins to give us victory and spark the dreadanaught faithful into a chorus of ''Wakefield are back Wakefield are back''. A former Robbin stealing victory from the FC crew was not received well by the FC fans.
I was about 16 and drunk on the heady aroma of being top of division one (none of this super league nonesense you know!) - my Trinity top of the league - un heard off. Ah don't you just love nostalgia?

I was going to say this one. Andy Kelly scored and ran in front of the threpenny stand and a chorus of boos rang out, then Andy did a little bow and the hooter went. Classic!

| these games to me are always big games as most of my mates support hull fc, the play off is the one i guess when we had most sucess in a big game, korki's drive set thingsup v nicely and tbh we had them then, it was v sweet seeing my mates afterwards n yorkshire one went on train home to goole to see them all , he had alot of fun lol, the atmosphere here is excellent and we always seem to big alot of noise and sing non stop which i love, the boulevard is another matter tho , we never got much change out of games there i afraid, and it was mainly cold n wet behind the post's , we did win once i seem to remember but my memory is very hazy on it as mostly i used to get alot f gloating from the fc fans as they seemed t be a bogey side to us

| I too have very vague memories of a victory at the Boulevard, not sure of the year or much of the detail, but the things that I do remember and will stay with me forever is the fact that me and my Dad got there and heard the team announced and we looked at each other in disbelief (wishing we hadn't made the trip) as there must have been 3 or 4 players we hadn't heard of and the team resembled nothing like the one we thought it would be as I think we were ravaged with injury.
The one name that does stick out in the memory was Lynton Morris, if I remember correctly I think it was his debut?
The other thing that sticks in the mind is that it absolutely hammered it down nearly all game and we got absolutely drenched behind the posts, but weren't bothered one bit as the 'scratch' team that we had so little faith in before kick-off in true Trinity 'backs to the wall' style recorded a famous victory.
Would probably rank up somewhere in my top five games I've ever been to.

And the trilogy was completed on Saturday with a try with the first touch! (Sorry for the drift! No more, promise!)

This was my favourite too , went on the bus from the bus station , couple of pints in a pub when we got there and it still felt like hours till the game started .
It must of been the same for some of the hull fans too , all I can remember about the game was the andy Kelly try and this young (14,15 year old) lass who just seemed to spend the afternoon walking round the ground for the entire match , then when she got to the wakey end she shouted and called us all everything under the sun - I can remember being dumbstruck , was she mental , hard as nails or was this the norm for hull ? I'll say no more

| A couple of moments from the past that spring to mind. James Mosley scoring on the wing at the boulavard night match and that try by Steve Ella. Both games we won. Do have a terrible record at Belle Vue against them.

| The play off game sticks in my mind as well, but that's more with the fun I had before and after the game.
I had just moved to Hull the week before and starting uni. After speaking to some of the locals (and getting a few dirty looks walking round in my trin shirt) I was told the so called best way to get the ground. Anyhow walking down some kids start talking to me and I chat along, thinking nothing of it. As we turned around the corner they turned a bit ugly and started looking for a fight. Thankfully a couple of FC fans had just turned the corner and saw what was about to happen and stepped in and the kids ran away.
After the game, Walking proudly in the trin shirt, every FC fan who saw me were really good, and wished us luck for the rest of the play offs. Also studying in the same department as the 'lollipop lady' also made the winter months really enjoyable as well.
The other game that sticks in the mind is the 2003 game at Belle Vue. Not just the result but Webcats got to play on the pitch prior to the main event against the FC Supporters.
