How many Wakey fans made the trip yesterday? I know the crowd was only 2,089 and the pictures on TV showed plenty of our fans but very few Celtic supporters. Vocal support came across very well too, I appreciate that the Celtic fans had little to sing about but I almost got the impression that the game was actually at BV, sorry Hearwell Stadium, rather than in Bridgend.Well done to all those who made the effort, particularly for a 7.00 p.m. K.O. on a Saturday night

2089 my h , about 1000 at the most and half of them were from wakey.

Was told once before than when a club announces the attendance they always include season ticket holders, this would explain why alot of attendances at many clubs sometimes seem off.

Why the obsession with Celtics support? We're hardly in a position to be shouting from the rofftops about it. They're a new club and will need time to build their fan base, unfortunately for them they're team is nowhere near good enough to compete on a regular basis this season, lets hope they get more competitive over the next two seasons and with a few wins their support should increase.

Support/fans directly equate to money. Without that you can't get the players you need to be competitive. Yes you're right we need to get our own house in order and we arn't up to the cap limit by a long way.However we are still light years ahead of Celtic

Believe it or not I would hate to see Celtic fold but they are living on borrowed time. They were set up in haste and from the things that I have heard went on down there yesterday I don't think they have a bright future.

Whether people like it or not, Celtic are in SL now. Their home crowds won't be swelled by the fact that they've yet to win at home this season, but if we want RL to succeed as a sport in Wales, we should be supporting them, not knocking their home crowds when ours are nothing to crow over.

Hardley suprising is it when there team are so bad! They have come in too early to super league. Widnes or Fax certainly should have been there Fax are playing good at the moment and showed they can mix it with other super league teams.
