If you are very lucky 1 of those MAY be ready for the 2012 season. If you rn with one of those as a frontline 7 were Brough to leave i think you would suffer dissterous consequences.

Yeah we would, but still would rather one of them play than Long. Next season though I would like to seem them both get a few more games to help build them into better players.

If Long came to Wakey, which I doubt I would not be a happy person.

Apart from the wage demand surely if long was to come to wakefield( which i couldnt see) it could only be a good thing give him 2 year contract, he's still got it lol no one can argue with that he's still going strong, if broughy leaves which i think he will surely davey and southernwood can only learn from longy before getttin the chance!!! Plus he can kick

I agree with this, and to be honest i do not think his wage demands will be too high given his age.

He may have lost his zip around the pitch and his passing game is a little hit and miss but he is still a fantstic controller of the game and his tactical kicking is still on the money. I really think he could be a good option for a mid table team to push them on to the next level. (and i do include Wigan in that mid table team assessment but history is against a move to Wigan as is the fact we appear to be looking to spend big on an NRL half.)

Think his experience would be good for the young half backs at the club and he would be a leader on the pitch. For the right price think he would be worth a shot.

I'd take him in a shot! Nobody complained when we snared Brad Drew from Huddersfield at age 32 so whats the difference with Sean Long? think he could do a job for us, and give the rub to Sothernwood, a born winner that could put the winning mentality back into the club.
