Wakefield had only to put in a normal run of the mill home performance and they would have put a turgid Wigan side to bed with ease. Wakefield were shocking, dropping the ball in key positions with no pressure on them at all. The amount of times Wakefield had the ball in a good scoring position and did absolutely nothing with it must have driven John Kear crazy.

ATEOTD It was a close game, could have gone either way, however Wigan were much quicker at the play the ball, and made fewer silly errors, despite a couple of dubious decisions and dodgey forward passes, we lost because we weren't good enough, or as clinical as Wigan.

We don't need you coming on here pointing out how cr@p we were when Saints got tonked good and proper last week, Wigan are the form side at the moment, and we had a great pop at them, and we ended up on the wrong end of the scoresheet.
