Second time in recent years that they have ended up doing this in wet conditions. It doesn't half make the job difficult - and with it being booked a long time in advance there is little that can be done to change it.

Unfortunately it will probably still show on the BBC next week. If it had been dry it would have been 'brushed' in nicely!

Is that all of the pitch or the corner where the players' come out?. On Saturday I heard the groundsman telling someone that he had complained to the coaching staff for continually using that corner and not utilising the rest of the pitch in training. Must say he had a point it looks awful in comparison to the rest. He also said that despite bucket loads of water on it, it was still rock hard. Maybe that has something to do with it.

All of the pitch, it is being reseeded.

So how come we haven't had to switch all of our games for a 6 week period then eh?
