Looked really fed up after the game, he ALWAYS claps the fans in all corners after the game, but he just walked off head down. He was either shattered or really unhappy with the performance..

Probably disappointed in his own and the teams performance, we seemed to lack the hunger, desire and enthusiasm that we have seen nearly all this season.
Interesting point on radio Leeds when I was on the way home about how much the 3 games in eight days takes out of teams over the Easter period, the adrenaline gets you through those and then seems to hit teams in this fixture.
I would definitely say that could apply to us today, although fair play to Wigan they killed us out wide and were by far the better team.

They were chancing their arm right from their first set. They seemed really fired up and certainly deserved the win. There was a period at the start of the second half when we were starting to take control of the game. That all fell apart when Blanch missed that tackle on Ainscough where he should have driven him over the dead ball line.
We've got away with a couple of poor performances over the previous two games, seems like it finally caught up with us. |
