With respect to announcements you would have to say Wakefield are right at the very back of the race. However, nobody knows what the future will hold, the other projects have been in the public domain a long time with nothing significant actually happening as of yet. Trinity could sneak in front of them, but I imagine they will encounter much of the issues the others have already faced. What would be fantastic would be a situation with all five clubs up and running in new stadia by 2012. I wonder what the odds on that are!!!!

Since when has it been a race ?

I agree we should get on with getting more people to the matches, that would shut up our rivals, a good push in the league and cup will get more people intrested, but us the fans should give them a little nudge in the right direction, and get them to come to matches.

Couldn't agree more Big Al throw in marketing as well being saying that for ages.

Sadly franchise makes it a race - which is why I think franscise is an abomination in some respects.

It's a race against time rather than each other.

I hope all the clubs get their new stadia so the next round of License applications can concentrate on what the clubs bring to the game of RL, rather than the facilities.

No system is perfect, under the promotion and relegation system teams complained they could not risk building a team, having to reply on many occaisions on second rate Aussies at the expence of British lads. Sacking coaches who need time to build those squads of young British lads. Clubs unable to fully develop themselves because of relegation threatened short-termism. The appaling decline in our international setup.
I for one am all for this system, at present. I believe as a club we are benefiting from the stability it brings, I don't think we would be discussing a new ground without it so things in our garden are looking rosie.
Do I think it's better? Yes I do, but I don't think it's perfect.

Yep marketing too. IMO now is the time to throw everything we've got at improvements in every department.

Couldn't agree more, chuck everything at it including the kitchen sink!!!!
The bulls were the club that took superleague on and made it there own, everywhere you went there were people in bulls shirts, cars (and lots of em!!) festooned in bulls flags, stickers and whatever, they knicked fans from everwhere and everyone.
To me this seems like a similar opportunity for us, if we can take it, the location is spot on for knicking a few more supporters, there seems a willingness within supporters to try and improve attendances because we all know there not good enough, the team is playing brilliantly and we look like were getting a degree if proffesionalism behind the scenes.
So now is the time to really push on, the top 4 is crying out for another cpnsostently competative club, why not us, for the first time in a long time I view our future with a great deal of optimism.

I hope all the teams get their stadiums too.
