IF we leave BV for pastures new, what would you miss most about BV?

The burgers, the crush down the bottom end, the grass on the terrace or the temperamental lighting situation in the toilet?

For me personally, i will really miss the people round who have stood around me for years, for anyone that knows him Tony is a legend (if you know "the Tony" you know you don't need to know a second name!) Him and his lot have me and my family in stitches every week!

I know today's news has been a huge lift but it's going to be sad on that last ever game!

deffo have to be the pitch , tho tony is a good shout too he is the most driest funny man i here at belle vueand some of the players he made remarks havent been able to keep a straight face, quality man, and the people i been around for 25 years stood in same spot, chris, paul, john n family and from times gone by linda n steve tho he now a cas fan had good times at bv over the years, lets hope the new ground will bring good times too

I'll miss the pitch and hope there is some way of moving it with us along with as much of the soil underneath to keep it in good nick.

Do we know if it is going to be all seater or will there be a standing area ? I'll miss standing at the games if it is all seater.

The pitch has to be the main one.

one of the things I'd miss is being able to park in the same space no matter how big the crowd is...never let me down in 20 years

Whilst I have 40 years of great memories of BV I am over the moon to know I will be able to develop a new set of happy memories in Stanley.

Anyway when Trevor Woodward demolished the corner that my father always stood at BV was never quite the same again.

I'd miss the people I've stood, and now, sit with, but would hopefully be able to continue this at the new stadium.

When the proper plans are released, I suppose people will be able to make plans where they stand or sit etc.

I have a slight change at the start of every season but I know what you mean

Being close enough to the pitch to hear the wind come out of the players when they are slammed to the ground.

I will only miss the pitch, would feel strange not playing there like.

Aslong as us lot can still get together atmosphere will be great

If i was the club i would consider taking that with you as its the best in SL

We are bound to lose some of the character that has built up over the years but lets face it the ground is slowly dismantling itself.

The short walk to the ground from my ma's place, and the stop-off at the chippy on the way back.

Think I will upset people by saying this. Have been watching Wakefield for over 30 years and apart from the memories of particular games, there is nothing I will miss about BV if and when we finally move out.

I doubt it, mate. Apart from being able to stand pretty much wherever you want, and the quality of the pitch itself, it has little other than the memories to recommed it. We need to move one. Just glad the proposed site is still in an area that is definitely Wakey.
