| I urge you to come forward and help our team.
We have had a great start to the season and seem to be playing better and better. Lets try and get more people though the turnstyles.
I appreciate times are hard and its not easy for people to attend financially. But if the regulars can try and get a few mates to come along they may just get hooked.
Our away support is fantastic, but we need to work on the home support.
Anyone got any ideas we can put to the club to get more folk down to Belle Vue? Im sure the Marketing department would be open to ideas???

| A consistently winning side and a significant presence in the city centre throughout the week and Saturday with ticket offers, games and prizes.
People are holding on to their money and Trinity are competing with a number of activities for a limited amount of cash. This makes it a hard time to encourage non regulars to go to what is in reality an expensive option on a consistent basis.
Inviting the junior teams to the ground as pre-match entertainment is one of my favourite ideas. This gets the kids in and their families and may encourage them to go back. As an addition to this perhaps Wakefield could offer discounted tickets to all the junior Rugby League clubs around the city. They could sell tickets in bulk to these clubs at a favourable price and then these clubs can give them to their members or sell them to make a bit of money themselves. This increases the availability of the tickets whilst helping local amateur set ups which has the potential to secure a little bit of loyalty to the club.

| To be fair there's not a lot more you can do to get bum's off armchair seats plus the Footy season is still going & some people might still prefer to go to the footy.
Apart from giving out free ticket's to the kid's hoping they bring there mums & dads don't know what else the club can do
Success on the field does help & good PR in the Wakey Express could also help too.
Who'd want to work at a Super league club er

| I agree with the sentiment but appealing to people on the wakey forum wont work IMO.
I would bet the vast majority of people on this board go every week or are season ticket holders already. To go on forums usually is people who already have a high interest for the forum subject.
I think free tickets for young kids too young to go on their own is the way forward. The nag factor when their mates are going but they are not would be hard to resist for most parents especially when the child has his own free ticket.

| We are the most apatheticly ( probably made up word!!) we consistantly fail to deliver a decent gate.
Why I don't know, the travelling support had been poor at BV this season which doesn't help, but the boys deserve better than this.
The atmosphere usually makes a library look chaotic, a lot of the passion seems to have gone.
A bit dissapointing really.

| So much depends on a new ground. People will go to see something new, and for as much as I like Belle Vue, walking through Agbrigg and then getting to the ground might just remind people why they stopped going. A new ground gives such a marketing impetus that it will be like the club starting over.
One of my gripes is also the ever-changing kit. Businesses have to have a corporate identity, and for me I would like to see us have a kit that is instantly recognisable as a Wakefield kit. Decide on a kit style, using the traditional colours, perhaps drawing on our history, and then just bring out versions that vary that one style. Saints manage to bring out a new kit every year that is always recognisable as a Saints kit. We don't.

I agree with that slugger new ground people will come to experience the trin! Away fans also would want to come to a nice stadium. I just hope it will have some character. You look at stadiums like Swansea/Mk Dons no character just new plain crappy stadiums.

Agreed. Mess around with the away short by all means, but the last home shirt which said 'Wakefield' was the from the Atlantic Solutions sponsorship days. Best recent one was either the first in Super League or the 'V' from 2002.
Would be nice if we had a presence in the city centre - outside of Sports Direct, I guess!

Totally agree with the kit. It can't be that difficult due to the fact we have three colours. Like you said Saints manage it with only red and white and so do Wigan. Hull also do a good job with just Black and white.

| monday was for me a case in point of my long held theory that we dont get good gates when either leeds or man u are playing, same maybe for bulls fans?
and again only my personal view, does it really matter for 1000 either way? I dont want x factor groupies, however i think a beat combo such as the pussycat dolls may get a few in earlier.
And the atmos on friday and monday was great, especially monday.
