Gone for Brad Drew a superb all round performance , although you could not complain about any of the players who played tonight .
I also think the young guns are showing maturity beyond their years in the 1st team to say its their first full season ( fergy , bibb , pitts in the pack & gleeson & murphy in the backs )

A true 17 man effort tonight but as he made such a difference when he came on I've gone for Drew

I expect that kind of performance from Drew, really. And while his attack was awesome, took Cas to pieces and was and definitely MotM worthy (and I probably should vote for him!), Murphy impressed me most.

Came inside to tackle Evans but he knew what he was doing. Another awesome piece of defence closed Cas down, put too much pressure on the kicker and forced the turn-over halfway up the field and the next set resulted in a try that began the onslaught. Cleared the in-goal area well when Cas were testing us, and he dealt well with more than one overlap during the course of the game. Came inside to look for work going forward too and made some great yards down the middle. A performance worthy of SL.

I agree the that murphy did have a great game & out of the 5 I mentioned earlier I think that Aaron stood out well tonight against a couple of good backs

Gone for Drew. Until he came on we were winning an arm wrestle. Once he came on we kicked ass!

Who flattened Sargent in that very 1st tackle? Never really got involved in the game after that.

I too went for Drew he ran the show and showed his class throughout. Snitch was trojan like and is provig to be a great signing, JD did what we all now take for granted, Martin steadied us and sowed great maturity, Fergie got through a mountain of work as did Murphy on the wing, Blaymire was solid at the back and Hendo must be the hardest player on our books and works his rocks off in attack and defense. Blanch was his usual self making plenty of hard yards and Gleeson improves with every game, Brough is working his way back to fitness and is developing an understanding with Drew and Martin, Scully broke the deadlock with a nice 'soft hands' pass ad ran hard and straight all night, Obst ripped them to pieces in his 2nd stint, Wilkes again ran hard and tackled hard and Bibb is improving with every game. To a man they were all ultra efficient and once we had settled down and adapted to the wet weather we took complete control, our defensive system worked an absolute treat and we only conceded afterf back to back sets and off the back of a kick through so Im sure the coaching staff will be extremely pleased with that performance. Great win, great effort and a 'good' Friday all round!

i wouldn't normally post on a MOM thread on an opposing teams board, but i have voted for martin, i thought he was great for you guys last night and did a real job in the halves. caused us problems and was very strong with ball in hand.

i find it embarrasing that cas have a MOM thread as quite frankly no one deserves a mention!!!

Drew all the way.Absolulty controlled the ruck area and got cas on the back foot every time he had the ball.
