Shame about the Dragons at Saints. I will be 60 miles from Perpignan on the quarter final weekend. I was already planning my speech to the missus in case we ended up there in the quarters. Oh well, I guess I'll just stay married instead.

Very transparent draw! Why all the cloak and dagger stuff involving the RAF and no live media coverage? Not too unhappy regarding our tie, we are either good enough or not.
The happiest with the draw will be the RFL; 2 all superleague sides to satisfy the BBC and all the 'minnows' out before the semi finals so there is no 'thrashing' on TV (with all due respect to the lower league sides). Pure coincidence or not?

remember the sell out game at BV or the one at wigan where we scored length of the field with just about all 13 players getting their hands on the ball.

Not a good draw but could have been worse. Wigan are one of the teams who lift their game for the big occasions.
Would have liked a cushy ride through to the semi again like last year. Might be better for us to get a big crowd and the revenue at the expense of progressing to next round though?

Based on the shocking loss of form after getting to the Semi’s last season I would tend to agree with that sentiment (Big crowd not guaranteed this season though, particular if it is chosen as one of the TV games). Although I would not complain should Trinity get there. At least this time no-one could point to an easy route to the Semi final as the only reason Wakefield were there.
