First half he was awesome. Second half we did a job on him.

Looked threatening all the time though.

Bit strong, he certainly gave them something but hardly in the same class as Fergt, JD, Bibey, Blaymire, Atkins and Martin to name but a few

hes bloody quick, is that how he got through customs

I went to BV today which game did you see?

Must have come back from Oz by supersonic jet.

The one with the big fella wearing 26 who can do things most RL players can only dream about.

I wouldn't say no to him in a Wakey shirt, although that should be taken as a positive for those in the shirts that they were able to prevent him from playing second half.

I dont know which game you were watching or if you knew which player greg bird was no 26

But boy his class stands out so much he does the little thing right.

One thing i noticed straight away, was the way he held his hands while off the ball not on his side but arms out fingers ready to control the ball if it came to him he was always ready, excellent passes made a few half breaks when he went into the tackle he always somehow managed to get his arms free, to offload if he wanted too.

He didnt get as much of the ball as he liked, and was quite tired also but his class is there, wish we had him.

Got to agree with TRB, he was head and shoulders their best player. When he gets match fit he will be awesome

his skills were phenomonal looked so at ease with everything he did. Was wanting the ball everytime and could see the options would actually pay to see him vs another team when he's fit hes gonna be awesome

Yeah the little fat bloke with the gut, i did see him rolling around on the floor for a while, does that count

He may had been good but certianly not that good.

Fair enough you got me there, but his touch was so much above any other player on the field.

Bird seemed to run harder than anyone on the pitch, some great offloads too! Thought he showed touches of class, and for his first game in Britain, went well.

Don't matter mate it will not change any ones opinion!

It wont, but perhaps people who didnt go will realise how bird actually went, instead of the opinion of some loud, abusive drunks chanting "bird beats his wife, birdy birdy beats his wife etc"
