Rooney isnt the 'superstar' of the RL world....he doesnt have the stature and media presence as someone like paul sculthorpe so from a rugby point of view the book might make dull reading - he hasnt really achieved much in a RL shirt.....2 playoff games and was once a fringe international player....in some respects, so much was expected of rooney and he hasnt delivered....on the contrary tho...his personal life, his personal trauma and how he's handled the personal pressures could be quite an emotional and good read - itsa shame his book wont get the same media coverage as paul sculthorpes did for example, which will mean some miss out on quite a good read.
