Dissappointing news on Obst's and Stosic but hopefully the injuries might not be as serious as first thought.

It was said that Grix had damaged ankle ligaments but apparently it's only a sprain and he could be back in one or two weeks.

Also Scully is having a run-out with the reserves tomorrow so he should be back next week.

they think its Cruciate ligament for Stosic, if true that could be 6 months

heard John Kear in Radi Leeds interview prior to the game say that although Grix' ijury wasn't as bad as first thought 4-6 weeks is the time he is looking at

Stosic , medial and cruciate ligaments out for season. Sam torn Hammy ,4 to 8 weeks. Can't believe our luck, i've never known a season full of injuries like this ever!! Keep battling guys.

Whilst not doubting the mole rat's sources, I find it hard to believe that such a diagnosis (and its severity) can be confirmed without a scan.

got the same injury myself 3 years ago and i aint played again other than tag, if he just twanged the cruciate then 5-6 months, if he tore it then you wont see him till next season

Q - Didn't Stosic have a bad knee injury a few years ago?

Both limped out of last night's match against wire, James looked especially groggy. Anybody know how serious their injuries are?

Sculthorpe looked miles off the pace today cant see how he can be considered for a first team place he as never being fully match fit since we signed him

complete ballcocks. that is such a lazy easy to make comment which is way off the mark imo. he looked very lean at times for a big bloke last year and just because he's not the most mobile people make the mistake of saying he's unfit. he may need a couple of games to get match fit after prolonged periods injured but when he has a run of games there is not fitness issue whatsoever he does his fair share

I though Obst was allowed to stay on far too long last night it was clear he was struggling in the first 5 minutes. I know he wanted to stay on but I hope he hasn't made it worse by trying to carry on.

I thought that, and with Stosic too.

Saw Stosic signal to the bench straight away when he did his knee and he stayed on for another couple of mins after.

Think it's a lesson to all players (despite how much they want to play) that it really isn't worth it if you're not 100% right. Rooney at Huddersfield the other year was another shining example of playing someone who wasn't ready.

Hope we can learn from it.
