I've never really been a critic or a fan but I have questioned his signing and whether or not he actualy wants to be at Wakefield.

After his first three performances this season it wouldn't be fair of me if I didn't recognize how good he's been.

Without a doubt he has carried the responsiblity of being the sole playmaker with ease and has been absolute class in all three of our games so far.

Maybe the enquiry from the Giants made him answer the question of where he wants to be and once that was settled in his own mind he's then set about showing the Trinity fans where his loyalty lays.

he has been excellent and seems to have spent nearly 240 minutes on the field over all 3 games. if he sticks to dominating the ruck i can see no reason for the return of brough to upset the dynamic

Another outstanding display again today and 6.0 for artistic content in his dive.

At dummy half he takes control and sorts the team out brilliantly. The loss of the playmakers means Brad has to be the main man and he revels in it. Without him we really would be in the poop!!

Never doubted Brad last season, he will always play for is team, he just had a bad run with injuries last season.

The mans CLASS and to put in the game time he's had to do in the 3 games shows us all that he plays for the team, what ever team that may be.

I am sure his hearts at Hudds and probaly always will be, but thats fine by me.

Looking at our 17 today it must have being a good performance great to see pur lads stepping up to the mark with so many key players missing.

now that is the big question can they play together when broughy is fit to return,
I personally think it looks like he has a lot on his plate at the moment and limped of to the applause of the crowd, would hate for them to fall out but would also not want to see him take to much on,

We need him on fri, Obst, Latu and Skully are all a bonus.

my own view is that if all the players were fit we would use brough and obst and drew as, heaven forbid, a rotation situation, ie dont all have to play every week, latu the perfect bench player.
for now id pick obst every week as his defense is awesome, so its brough and drew competing for a start place, might give them both the incentive.

just saw him get up from a tackle very slowly got back in line and tried to run it off, I think they took him off to be safe as the game was won, but there was some big hits today, Bibey for one

Agree. Would like to see Bibey's hit again, was he penelised for high elbow? Seemed harsh from behind sticks

I'd like to see the hit that Bibey put on Lueluai again, the in the 1st half where Smith penalized him for a high shot.

It looked a good one from where I was and the Salford fans dud'ny blow about it

my view was from behind the sticks to the right so his right arm was obstructed by his body it certainly wasn't around his head or we would of had the stretcher on to carry him off

do you reckon? for me they are an out and out 9 and a 7, cant see how they are competing for a place. if anything obst would go to 6 with latu rotating with drew, rooney fighting to get a spot. considering our injuries i imagine we will need all 5 this season

grix certainly deserves a starting place on this seasons evidence. unfortunately for him players may take his place whilst he's injured and if they play well may keep him out when he's fit.

Thought Bibey tackle was a belter, couldn't see anything wrong with it.

Drew's performance today showed two things:

1. His equally brilliant effort against wigan two weeks ago was no fluke.

2. Shows what he is capable of when he can be bothered to put his mind to it.

Still, not taking anything away from already what is looking like a vast improvement.

I know it's early in the season but with Brad only having a contract for this year left is he worth another 1 or 2 year contract he's certainly good enough just a question of fitness & on the plus side he would be valuable to the younger players

Ha, we spoke about this last night Acko and i wondered when it would crop up, its an interesting question.
