Outstanding skills on his day but brain farts aplenty on others . Suits both sides I’d say , gigot gets to do his own thing and the club saves a few Bob, especially as no one knows for sure when the turnstile will get spinning again in these crazy times we live in

He was a knee jerk signing who we would never have made if we were secure in the league last year.

He undoubtedly is the kind of player that possesses that spark so I can understand why they did it.

Throughout his career he has produced either rocks or diamonds, I can’t recall him producing any diamonds in his time with us sadly.

The scenario which we don’t need to discuss on here as it is being dealt with on another thread has provided us with the opportunity to get rid of a player who we didn’t need and free up some cap space or if we can’t use it save us some money.

Good move for us, think it’s the end of his SL journey unless Leigh are desperate that is.

Saw on Hull Live they labelled it as a "key man" leaving, I think quite the opposite to be honest, a player we just don't need, inconsistant, sometimes brilliant yes and he might get away with it in some teams but not ours. We are well covered at FB and hopefully it also frees some money up for us to recruit in positions we really need.

He was potentially good cover for a number of positions and a player we really did/do need! However the Gigot of a few years ago is not what we got. It was clear his heart wasn’t in it and never would be. He’s probably gone over now and I can’t see him coming back, that CCup was his peak moment. We need players who’s peak is yer to come imo.

They have plenty of players who peaked on New Year’s Eve lol
